Sometimes known as static cling, once you have had this product in your life you will find so many uses for it!

This product has no adhesive at all!  So no sticky residue.  It is attached by static to glass, windows and some very smooth metals.  It can be used indoors or outdoors but as there is no adhesive, it can be removed or fall off fairly easily in inclement weather.

How would I use it?

• It is really popular for use as brand or association emblems to fit inside the front windows of cars – where the tax disc used to be!  This is a really good way of creating loyalty and recognition amongst your customers or members.
• Window cling can be used to create parking passes for private areas – ideal for sailing clubs.
• You can get good and easy branding into pop-up shops, and it can be re-used over and over again with careful storage
• If you own a car show room, then why not use it on the outside of a car door or window to promote an offer or the sale price? Although, we recommend that you do not leave them on overnight or drive with them on the outside of the vehicle.
• Why not use window cling to decorate the inside of your shop window? We sell pre-designed sheets for Easter and Christmas that make quick and easy to apply decorations.  Also, they are re-usable.
• If you rent a property or office building, why not choose window clint for safety fenestrations – you know those shapes you have to put on glass by law to prevent accidental walking into the glass.  It also works to prevent bird strike too!
• It works well on the inside of glass with statutory building information such as CCTV, Covid information, opening times etc

Are there any limitations on design for window cling?

Window cling comes in clear or white which can be printed full colour.

We can also cut window cling into shapes.  There is a choice on the solid coloured window cling.  White, clear, red, yellow and green – perfect for seasonal window decorations.

Never has it been more important than now to stop potential customers in their walk down the high street.  You are fully in control of your enticing window display, but how do you add important details like opening times, or list of other products?  Paper looks cheap, but vinyl need not be expensive. Vinyl lettering is semi-permanent.  It is easy to apply to the inside of the glass.  And easy to remove.  But once removed, you cannot re-apply it.

How to use shop window lettering

• You can put your opening and closing times on the window in a very professional manner, in a style to match your brand.
• You can list all your products in a ‘ticker tape’ style run along the top or bottom of the glass, which talks to your customers even when you are closed. This works well in pedestrian situations.
• Additionally you may prefer to put a vertical list on one side of the window, to attract passers-by if you are on a road.  This lettering is usually larger and better suited to shop fronts close to roads
• Shop window lettering also allows you to ring the seasonal changes if a vibrant window display is a core part of your marketing strategy.

What are the common uses of vinyl lettering?

• You can brand vehicles.  Rear window decals are really popular and drive business in your geographically local area. You can apply these graphics easily yourself.
• If you have a boat, why not use our marine grade vinyls?  You may want to add your boat name in a fancy design.  Or you can even add a port of origin.  Vinyl lettering works on RIB’s life buoys and life vests.
• Do you have a shop and want something better than a sheet of paper with your opening times?  For instance, you can apply vinyl lettering to the inside of the glass It is a great way to connect with passers-by at eye level.  You can also display important store information such as opening times.
• Perhaps you have made a sign or an A board – why not put some vinyl lettering on to finish the job?
• Vinyl lettering adheres to most flat surfaces. If you have existing signage or a metal fence, why not spruce it up with your own design?

Is it easy to apply?

YES!  We send clear instructions and we have also made a handy how to video here.  In addition, we send all our lettering in single sheets.  We supply the lettering on a backing sheet, all pre-spaced.  So although it will look like each letter has been applied separately – no nasty clear backing – in fact you will have applied it in one block.  Watch the video!  But be warned.  You may find yourself addicted!

Is it expensive?

Vinyl lettering is very cost effective.  Let us know how you are using it and we will make sure we supply the optimum vinyl for the job.  For example, our marine grade vinyl (for vehicles and boats) works out at around 10p per 1cm height of letter.  If you are ordering large amounts, we go to a meterage price rather than a per letter price.  Just email for a quote.
