Slightly Inky Traditional Rubber Stamps

I have just now received the rubber stamp made from my logo. It looks fab! And I (of course) have pretty much stamped everything in sight by means of a serious scientific test! The rubber stamp market is pretty confusing to be honest.  In these days of paper free offices, it is surprising to find that rubber stamps are still such a staple item.  They do so many different jobs.  Traditional stamps do have the edge as they are truly multi use.  A quick clean with a tooth brush (do buy one especially for the stamp!) and you can change your colour or even move to a specialist ink such as embossing, chalk, glitter . . . we recommend Colorbox’s Cat’s Eye range or Tsukineko Memento inks.  You can brush both of these over the stamp face and even ‘paint’ the different colours.  In this way you can produce a rainbow effect.

Jane from Slightly Inky used a Versafine Ink Pad.  As you can read in her testimonial, she found this to be a really versatile ink on most surfaces. She was able to get a really clear, detailed impression with no smudging.  Result!

Modern traditional rubber stamps are so much more enduring than the old messy things many of us remember from toddler hood.  They come with a positive handle.  The result is a good strong, even impression time after time.  Larger stamps (max size A4) are mounted on a ‘rocker’.
