How To Order New Lettering for Your Banner in just Five Steps

Five Steps to Ordering New Lettering for Your Banner

So your last event was a success, the banner looked great, and you’ve now stored it safely, ready for the next one. But that date is creeping up—only 6 or 7 weeks to go—and it’s time to update the details. That’s where new lettering for your banner comes in. You don’t need to order a whole new banner. Instead, we make it simple for you to refresh your existing one with updated information.

If you’ve used one of our banners before, you’re in luck. We keep records of every single one we produce, including colours, font styles, sizes, and layout, making it incredibly easy to order new lettering for your banner—even if someone new is taking over the job this time!

Here’s how it works in five simple steps.

Step 1: Get in Touch

When you’re ready to update your banner, just drop ">us an email. We hold long-term records of all the banners we’ve made, so we’ll likely be able to access your original design quickly. To help us find it easily, please include:

  • The name of the organisation or event you’re representing (especially important if you’re new to the role)

  • The dates and times you want to appear on the new lettering

  • Your contact details, just in case we have questions

Step 2: Let Us Know How Many Banners You’re Using

Many of our customers order multiple banners at a time. If that’s you, let us know how many you plan to update this time around. Maybe you’re only putting up half of them this year or reusing just one outside a new location—either way, we’ll need to know how much replacement lettering to produce.

Step 3: Confirm Where It’s Going (and Who’s Paying)

We do not store despatch addresses or invoice details for data protection reasons, so please make sure to tell us:

  • Where you’d like your new lettering sent

  • Who to invoice (especially if it’s not you personally)

A quick email with this info helps us avoid delays, and we’ll get straight to work on creating your new banner lettering.

Step 4: We Send the New Lettering (and Instructions)

Within around ten working days, your new lettering for your banner will arrive. It’s made from a flexible vinyl designed specifically for banner applications. It sticks cleanly and securely to your existing banner surface, but it’s also easy to apply. We include simple step-by-step instructions so you can do it yourself without any specialist tools.  This video explains exactly how to change the lettering on your re-usable vinyl banner or read this article here.

No hassle. No mess. Just a freshly updated banner ready to shine again at your upcoming event.

Step 5: A Budget-Friendly Update

Updating your banner doesn’t just save time—it also saves money. We charge by the meterage of the vinyl lettering, and once we know your original design and what you need changed, we’ll give you a clear price.

Most 2–3 metre banners cost around £40 to update, depending on how much content is changing. And we guarantee it will never cost more than two-thirds of what a brand-new banner would. It’s a great way to reuse materials responsibly while keeping your messaging current.

Why Updating Your Banner Makes Sense

Events often repeat, but details like dates, venues, and times change. Instead of throwing out a perfectly good banner, updating it with new lettering for your banner is the smart, sustainable solution. It’s cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and incredibly easy to do—especially with our team here to support you every step of the way.

So when that next event date is on the horizon, don’t start from scratch. Just follow the five steps above, and your updated banner will be ready before you know it.
